Edinburgh-based company Aircraft Medical has signed exclusive agreements with seven distributors in the Asia Pacific region to sell its portable video laryngoscope, the McGrath Series 5.
Distributors in Hong Kong (AirTec), South Korea (Pacific Medical), Taiwan (Biotronic), Singapore (IDS), Malaysia (ITL Healthcare), Indonesia (IDS) and Thailand (Pacific Healthcare) have signed up to distribute the product.
The company’s distribution in the region has expanded since it attended the HospiMedica Exhibition in Singapore in September 2008 and met a number of prospective distributors.
The first hospital sales of the McGrath Series 5, the first fully portable device of its kind, have already been recorded in the region.
